At the council meeting, OCP voted and by a unanimous decision, voted to implement the CQI program, the largest program of its kind in the country. It mandates that all community pharmacies in the province anonymously report their incidents to a third party for the collection of aggregate data and feedback. Pharmacies are then required to collaborate as a team to discuss how to prevent errors from recurring.
